By the grace of Lord Jesus and with all humility, I present the Women Fellowship’s annual report 2014-2015. Under the leadership of our Presbyter Rev P.D John, President Mrs. Molly John and with the sincere support of the WF members we could undertake several activities during the year.

Mrs. Remi George                              Vice President

Mrs. Jesuslit Jose                               Secretary

Mrs. Omana Tharian                          Treasurer

The Committee members were: Mrs. Saramma T Varghese, Mrs. Alice Cherian, Mrs. Babykutty Sam, Mrs. Mariamma Abraham, Mrs. Suzie Korah Mathew, Mrs. Sosamma Thomas, Mrs. Annamma Samuel, Mrs. Saino Oommen and Mrs. Jessy Kurien.

Year Plan: - A year plan, approved by all the committee members, was made as WF’s guide line for its functioning. By His grace we could accomplish most of the programs as planned.

Membership Campaign: - A membership campaign done in June-July, with an annual subscription of Rs.50, enrolled 68 members, both new and renewal.

Monthly Fellowship Meetings: - Once a month, fellowship meetings were held after the service in Pune and Khadki.  We thank the WF members and the UBS students who have decimated the word of God in these meetings. Such meetings helped the members to develop a sense of fellowship among them.

Cottage Meetings: - Cottage meetings were held in the houses WF members on specific request.

Area Prayer Meetings: - Cottage prayers were held on every first Saturday in Pimpri-Chinchwad and third Saturday in Khadki.

Chain Prayer: - A 24-hour chain prayer was said on every second Saturday upholding the needs of the Parish, the sick, the Nation, and on matters of special needs relevant to the occasion.

Women’s Seminar: - An afternoon seminar was held on July 12 in old parsonage with about 20 members present. Mrs. Grace Williams spoke on “Role of women in evangelism.” The seminar was very inspiring.

One Day Retreat: - A one day retreat was held on September 27 in old parsonage which was attended by about 30 members. The meeting started with opening prayer, followed with singing and intercessory prayer. Rev. Saji Thomas, Vicar of Immanuel Marthoma Church, Vishrantawadi, spoke about the rich Shunammite woman, her recognition of Elisha as a holy man of God, her ardent faith in the prophet, her unbridled hospitality to him, the gift of a son she received from the prophet though she was barren, the child’s death later and the child’s miraculous healing when Elisha interceded. The talk was very mind stirring.

Orphanage Visit:- On December 27, WF Members along  with Sunday School students and teachers, comprising 40 persons, visited  “SNEHALAYA” a home  run  by the Missionaries of Saint Francis de Sales Pune. SNEHALAYA’s aim is to look after the children affected with cerebral palsy i.e. in their rehabilitation programs, a special school to qualify them educationally, counseling and emotional support to the children’s parents. By the grace of God we could collect and donate Rs.53,850  which Fr. Jerry Misquith, Director, thankfully received.

Women’s Sunday. - St Pauls Parish celebrated the Women’s Sunday on 1st March at Khadki and   8th Mar at Pune respectively. The women members participated in the order of worship.  Mrs. Babykutty Sam delivered the sermon in Pune and Mrs Ananda Betsi, in Khadki.

Vanchika Samarpanam:- The collection from “Vanchika Samarpanam” during the Women’s Sunday  was Rs.36,100 which was spent on charity purpose.

WF Anniversary:- The Women’s Fellowship anniversary was held on March 14 in old Parsonage. The guest speaker Rev. Thomas K. Jacob, Vicar of St. John’s Mar Thoma Church, Khadki, spoke from Col 4:6b “Your speech should be always pleasant” and James 3:1-12 speaks about the tongue.
