With all humility and by the grace of Lord Jesus I present before you the annual report of the Womens Fellowship 2016-2017. Under the leadership of our Presbyter Rev Christy David Daniel, President Mrs.Stephy Kochamma and with the sincere support of women members the following activities were conducted.


 The following members are the office bearers of the Women’s Fellowship

 The committee members are Mrs. Saramma T Varghese, Mrs. Alice Cherian, Mrs. Babykutty Sam, Mrs Rajam Jeji, Mrs. Sosamma Thomas, Mrs. Annamma Samuel, Mrs. Saino Ommen, Mrs. Omana Tharian, Mrs. Jessy Kurien and Mrs Susy Korah (W.F Representive to M.C)                        

Year Plan: - A year plan was planned and approved by all the committee members as a guide line for the functioning for the entire year. By His grace we could accomplish the programs as per schedule.

Membership Campaign: - A membership campaign was conducted in June-July2016. An amount of Rs. 50/- each was collected towards Membership. Around 94 members enrolled in the campaign.

Monthly Fellowship Meetings: - Once in a month fellowship meeting were held after the service in Pune and in Khadki.  We thank the persons who supported for the meeting especially the UBS students for their leadership. This inculcated a sense of fellowship among the members

Cottage Meetings: - Cottage meetings were held in the house of the needy W.F members as per their request.

Area Prayer Meetings:- First Saturday of every month there is cottage meeting in Pimpri Chinchwad area and  third Saturday in Kirkee area.

Chain Prayer: On every second Saturday chain prayer is conducted for 24hours upholding the  various needs of the parish,  for the sick, the nation and all for the needs which come up etc.,

One Day Retreat: - A one day retreat of the Women’s Fellowship was held on 23.7.2016 from 10 am to 3.30pm at Old Parsonage Kirkee. Around 25 members attended the meeting. Our vicar Rev. Christy David presided over the meeting. Our guest speaker was Mrs Rachel Satydas. She spoke about the character sketch of Sarah and her faith and obedience. It was a very meaningful message.The after noon session was by Mrs Linu Binu she taught to reuse the used denim clothing and a no bake apple pie. It was very interesting and encouraging for the members.

Orphanage Visit:- The members of the Women’s Fellowship along with the  Sunday School visited the Prerana Home, Wakad on 19.11.2016. Around 35 members including Women’s Fellowship and Sunday School participated in the programme. The Lord Saviour had enabled us to collect an amount of Rs.82,400/-.We had sponsored a special meal and also the members who visited shared the meal with them. We had taken provisions like pulses, sugar, cooking oil   cleaning agents, tea leaves , cold creams Used Clothes etc., and donated Rs30, 000/- cash.

Women’s Sunday. - St Pauls Parish celebrated the Women’s Sunday on 5th March at Khadki and   12th Mar at Pune respectively. The women members actively participated in the order of worship.  At Pune Mrs. Saramma Peter  and in Kirkee Mrs Shiny Jose  delivered sermon.  The sermons were encouraging and thought provoking.

Vanchika Samarpanam:- The vanchika samarpanam was conducted on the Women’s Sunday during the service in both  worship centres. The total collection received was around Rs 61871/-. This amount is used for  the Parakal Misssion boys home for the three children whom Women’s Fellowship is sponsoring and also for other charity help.

Charity/ Mission Help: - (Parakal Mission) By His grace the Women’s Fellowship of St Pauls Malayalam Parish is continuing to sponsor three orphan children of Parakal Mission. Rs.10,000/- annually for each child. We had sent the collection to Parakal Mission. The details of the children whom we are supporting are Ajay, Prany and Chandu. We hope the members will wholeheartedly contribute for the same in the future too.

(Orissa Mission)This year God enabled us to donate Rs 25,000/- for buying 5 Nos of sewing machine to the Orissa mission field.

Anniversary:- The anniversary of the Women’s Fellowship was held on 01 April 2017 at Old Parsonage Kirkee from 10 am to 3 pm. Around 25 members  attended the anniversary function. Our Achan Rev Christy David presided over the function.

The meeting started with prayer, singing session and Presidential address by Rev Christy David.The guest for the function was Rev. K. K. Kuruvilla, vicar of Marthoma Church Pimpri. Achan spoke from Exo 3:1-5.”God Calls Moses”. Moses loves his people and he was concerned about the Israelites slavery under Egyptian. God remembered His promise and called Moses to rescue them to the rich land of Canaan. Moses willingness to surrender to the will of God and his reverence to the Almighty Lord and how God strengthened him to lead the Israelites. The message was very meaningful message punctuated in relation with our daily life.

During the anniversary competitions were held and later  and prizes were awarded. Post lunch the business session was held. In the business session, Secretary read the annual report 2016-2017.It was passed. Year Plan and vision 2017-2018 was presented. This year God willing we wish to visit the Mysore mission. The meeting closed with vote of thanks, prayer and benediction.

 I express my heartfelt gratitude to our dear Achan and Kochamma for their wonderful guidance and unflinching support in our programmes. I thank all the committee members and the members for their active participation and sincere work. I also express our gratitude to church committee and the students of the UBS for their support in our activities.

Above all I thank our Lord Almighty who has strengthened us throughout the past year to undertake various tasks for the glory of His Kingdom. Let us be a vision building team for the Parish to pray and intercede for the needs of the church and for the Society at large. May the Lord bless the Women’s Fellowship to accomplish greater things for Him.
